It can be really difficult when a friend is having a birthday and you know what they want. You know what they want, can’t afford it, and you try to figure out how to get all of her friends to chip in so that she can get the one gift she wants or needs, instead of several small ones that she doesn’t want at all. This is the situation with my friend who is struggling to make laser hair removal cost. I jolly well can’t ask all of her friends to chip in a tenner so she can have silky legs, or can I? It is necessary to be incredibly diplomatic in these circumstances and find out if you friend minds if it is common knowledge that her desire is to go under the light. If it is then, you are home free and can do something clever like each person put a kind note on a light bulb, put them in a box with a gift certificate and you are done.If its a bit more personal, visa makes credit cards that you can top up for a gift or you can take a different route altogether and get her things like vouchers for food and clothes which would save her the money which she could then use on her legs!If you completely don’t agree with the choice, you can get her a boy shorts bikini, a razor, and a travel guide to the great beaches of Europe, she is sure to love it.
