An unusual gift idea
I used to despair when it came to buying gifts for some people; while a few people were always fairly easy to buy for, there was always a core selection who I panicked about. For a number of reasons. Group 1: relatives who have everything and don’t want anything. Group 2: older citizens like my dad who ask me not to buy something and waste my money, and then when I don’t buy anything and save my money are angry but try not to show it. Group 3: people my age who want stuff I can’t afford.Group 2 always annoyed me the most and I don’t think I need explain why…
But that day changed when I had my idea to create a market hamper; yes, that’s right, a hamper with stuff from the market…I know…ingenious!
The best thing about a market hamper is that you can find everything on a market, and most of it is cheaper and better quality than in the shops – at least in the market near me. I even once found a hard-back book about hybrid vehicles for uncle Jim in the market. And Jim loves both his hard-back books and his books about vehicles, so that really was a double whammy!
Other market hamper ideas are: sweets, cakes, aprons with funny slogans and all kinds of other things. Present it neatly in a wicker basket and you’re good to go. What else is there to know? It’s perfect and affordable at the same time. Right, sales pitch over.
